When turbidity, colloids or bacteria make conventional filtration unstable before RO, DSTC designs UF systems to deliver a more consistent low-SDI feed. Each UF system is sized from the feed water analysis and required capacity, then built with hollow-fiber UF modules, cartridge pre-screening, automatic backwash, CEB, SEKO chemical dosing, instruments and a control panel. DSTC also supports the system after supply with UF modules, dosing chemicals, cartridge filters, spares, commissioning and service.

Ultrafiltration is a membrane clarification process that removes smaller particles than conventional media filtration can reliably control.
