Where the goal is partial softening, sulphate reduction or colour removal rather than full desalination, DSTC engineers NF systems around the target rejection and feed analysis. Each system is sized to the feed water analysis, required m3/day and target reductions, then built with DuPont NF membranes, FRP pressure vessels, a high-pressure pump, cartridge pre-filtration, SEKO antiscalant dosing, instruments and a control panel. DSTC supports installation, membrane cleaning, replacement membranes, dosing chemicals and spare parts.

Overview
Nanofiltration is more selective than UF and less aggressive than RO. It is often the right fit when the target is to reduce hardness, sulphates, colour or organics while leaving part of the mineral content in the water. DSTC designs NF plants around water chemistry and target result rather than a fixed model number. The membrane type, number of 4040 or 8040 elements, pressure vessels, pump, recovery, antiscalant dosing and controls are selected from the feed water analysis and required m3/day.
